In the complex configurations, the preoccupation of the sculptor is with dynamic space/volume confrontations as they are operative within fields of forces. These fields are networks, interpenetrating currents of energy in processes of perpetual metamorphosis. The statue will only be animated when the spectator is in direct contact with it. As s/he enters into the act of seeing and making observations, as kinesthetic contact is made, a mental process is set into motion and then only are the force events revealed to be inherent in the perceived fields.
