Inscription is translated as This bowl is the gift of Ayala, the son of Imdrasama (Indrasarman) in the Monastery of Goldsmiths for the adoration of all the Buddhas and for the acceptance of the teachers who were great preachers .

Subject: Doorjamb carved with lovely lotus creeper and other bands consists of a Brahmi epigraph on the adjacent side. It translates as: By Vasu, son of the female descendant of the Kusika gotra a gateway (toranam) and the railing (vedika) was erected at the great temple (mahasthana) of Bhagavan Vasudeva. May Bhagavan Vasudeva, being pleased, promote (the dominion or the life and strength) of Svamin Mahaksatrapa Sodasa .
