Subject: Doorjamb carved with lovely lotus creeper and other bands consists of a Brahmi epigraph on the adjacent side. It translates as : By Vasu, son of the female descendant of the Kusika gotra a gateway (toranam) and the railing (vedika) was erected at the great temple (mahasthana) of Bhagavan Vasudeva. May Bhagavan Vasudeva, being pleased, promote ( the dominion or the life and strength) of Svamin Mahaksatrapa Sodasa .
