Subject: Badafula Khandua Silk Saree (Blue). The body of this saree is decorated with big flowers (badafula) arranged in an all-over pattern developed by single ikat method and has a traditional anchal (end). It is popularly known as 'Badafula' saree. This object was procured from Nuapatna No 2 Weavers Cooperative Society Ltd.

Subject: Tulasi Brundavati Chaura. In Odisha, goddess Brundavati is worshipped in the form of Chaura, which is a small temple like structure adorned with sculptures and with a Tulasi plant overhead. Tulasi Chaura is mostly worshipped by married women who want blessings for leading a prosperous family life. This object has been procured from State Institute for Development of Arts & Crafts (SIDAC).

Subject: Sirigantia Silk Saree. The saree has mathematical equations and drawings on the body. The anchal (end) has rows of Roman alphabets. The color scheme of the saree is black and brown. This saree was procured from Smt. Jharana Meher.

Subject: Tarabali Khandua silk Saree (Red). This saree has taraballi or band of stars of sky or a lozenge design on the body along with floral motifs on border and anchal. The color scheme of the saree is red and black. It is especially worn during bridal ceremonies. This object was procured from Nuapatna No 2 Weavers Cooperative Society Ltd.

Subject: The Diamond Throne (Vajrasana). This demarcates the site of the Buddha's enlightenment. A stone slab that probably dates to the time of Ashoka (3rd cent BCE) sits on a brick base. The top surface of the slab is decorated with repeated pairs of geese pecking at the base of acanthus, a motif identical to that on the abacus of several pillar capitals dating to Ashoka's' time. The brick base used to have stucco niches with kneeling pot-bellied figures supporting an entablature. The throne is now covered with a saffron cloth and shielded with a newly made canopy.

Subject: Panikia Tani Bandha Body Bandha (Chungudia) Saree. The saree's body has flowers in orange and pink color and purple borders. This object was procured from Nuapatna No 2 Weavers Cooperative Society Ltd.

Subject: Krishna (Makkan/Labani Chora). Krishna is worshipped as the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is also as a supreme god in his own right. Here Krishna appears with a dahi handi (yoghurt pot) referring to the legend of Krishna stealing butter and other milk products as a baby. This object has been procured from State Institute for Development of Arts & Crafts (SIDAC) Show House Museum, Handicrafts Complex.

Subject: Cow Bell (Tholka). A wooden bell with yoke tied to neck of cows or other animals to keep track of their movement. This object was procured from Fulamani Marndi in Mudrajodi village of Mayurbhanj district.

The Hindu god Shiva is represented here wearing a garland of skulls around his neck and carries in his hands a deerskin, a trident, a small hand drum and the fourth hand is in abhayamudra (gesture of fearlessness). We also see Shiva’s vehicle in the world, his vahana, the bull Nandi. Subject: Harin. This is a votive deer. Dhokra is a craft made by the lost-wax casting technique in which a molten metal is poured into a mold that has been created by means of a wax model. This craft has a tribal lineage and flourishes in the tribal belts of Odisha. This object was procured from Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Panposh (Assistant Director of Textiles, Sundargarh) that procured from Tasil Toppo.
