Subject: Konark Chakra Silk Jala Saree. This saree has an anchal (end) with traditional motifs such as elephant, lotus, fish and the Konark wheel. The body also has small motifs of the Konark wheel created through the jala technique that is an attachment on top of a loom consisting of threads which contain the complete series of lifting orders for an intricate design. This saree was procured from Sridurga Mahila WCS.

Subject: Silk Sakta Kusuma Saree. The silk saree is decorated with sakta or checkerboard effect over the body that has been created with the double ikat technique where both weft and warp yarn are tied and dyed before weaving. The anchal (end) is decorated with traditional ikat motifs like fish, deer, elephant, swan and flowers in single ikat technique. This object was procured from Sri Gobinda Meher in Nimna, Panchamahala, Sonepur.

Subject: Nabakothari khandua Saree. The 'nabatkothari' saree has nine square segments placed in a linear way across the body that contain nine different designs like, lotus, elephant, temple, peacock, pot, lion, conch, butterfly and deer in one line and another nine in the other line. This is a single ikat saree with a red and green color scheme. This object was procured from Boyanika (Odisha State Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society Ltd).

Subject: Traditional Original Silk Khandua. In the saree, motifs of das phulia (ten flowers) are formed in dobby technique while the motifs of elephant, deer, lion and flower on the anchal (end) are woven in tie and dye technique. An extra warp of tussar is used in the border. In the body, motifs of small flowers are woven in check pattern. This Badhi Kumbha Buti saree is woven by Sri Gangadhar Meher of Banahar village, Bargarh district of Odisha. This saree was procured from Gangadhar Meher.

Subject: 15 kothi silk sakata Saree. The saree's body has a checkerboard (sakta) pattern in double ikat and the anchal (end) has rows of bird, peacock, conch, elephant, scroll design, horse and floral design. This object was procured from Sri Gobinda Meher in Nimna, Panchamahala, Sonepur.

Subject: Nabaratna khadi silk Saree. This saree has nine auspicious motifs in its body. The are rows of nine different motifs - lotus, elephant, temple, peacock, pot, lion, conch, butterfly and deer in one line. This is a single ikat saree.

Subject: Mana. Mana is a measuring pot used for one kilogram of grain. Such measures were common in a barter based economy and continue to be used even with the shift to currency. This mana has elephants on its body.
