Subject: Interior arcades with re-used columns from Hindu and Jain temples of Rajasthan; Built by Qutub-ud-din-Aibak (Qutb ud-din Aybak), the first Sultan of Delhi and founder of the Slave or Mamluk dynasty. Inscription of Qutub-ud-din records that pillars were taken from 27 temples of Qila Rai Pithora (Rajput). Mosque is also known as Jami Masjid (Friday Mosque).
