Subject: Harin. This is a votive deer. Dhokra is a craft made by the lost-wax casting technique in which a molten metal is poured into a mold that has been created by means of a wax model. This craft has a tribal lineage and flourishes in the tribal belts of Odisha. This object was procured from Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Panposh (Assistant Director of Textiles, Sundargarh) that procured from Tasil Toppo.

Subject: Chandana Yatra. Pattachitra is a traditional, cloth-based scroll painting. Chandana Yatra meaning Sandalwood Voyage in Sanskrit, continues for 42 days at Jagannatha, Puri. This festival indicates the worshiping of the deities with sandal mixed water. Chandana yatra is divided into two periods each of 21 days - Bahar chandana or Outer Chandana and Bhitar chandana or Inner chandana. During Bahar chandana, the representative images of Rama, Krishna, Madanmohan, Lakshmi and Biswadhatri are taken in a procession to Narendra tank. Also, images of Siva from five Shiva Temples known as "Pancha Pandavas" accompany them in a procession in the Narendra tank, the images are taken in well decorated boats and are worshipped. Subject: Pothi (Bhagabata gita). The Odia Bhagavata Gita was authored by Jagannatha Das. A stack of uniformly sized palm leaves are stitched together to form a continuous scroll called pothi. The pothi is an integral part of traditional Odishan life. The history of Odisha is encapsulated in pothis and is often a part of the family bequest. The grass is first softened and then coiled with a needle to form strands. These braids are then woven to form the shape of the craft item and finished off with a coat of shine.
