Subject: Bapta Fodakumbha Saree. The weaving with cotton and silk amalgamation is known as Bapta. This bapta saree has a traditional temple design border. The anchal (end) and the border also have conch motifs. The color scheme of the saree is white and red. This object was procured from Sambalpuri Bastralaya Handloom Co-operative Society Ltd.

Subject: Hatakumbha Cotton Saree. This saree is has the kumbha (temple) motif that has been created with strands of yarn via shuttle. It is predominantly red in color. This object was procured from Sambalpuri Bastralaya Handloom Co-operative Society Ltd.

Subject: Traditional Bomkai Silk Saree. The Bomkai saree got its name from the Bomkai village in Odisha. The original and traditional weaving of a Bomkai saree was made in low-count cotton yarn which is usually, coarse, heavy and dyed in intense colors. The weaving of the saree follows the tie and dye method and the procedure used in Bomkai pattern, in the saree, is known as Jala technique. The saree has a temple border design and floral motifs on the anchal (end). This saree was procured from Chaturbhuj Meher.

Subject: Traditional Bomkai Cotton Saree. The Bomkai saree got its name from the Bomkai village in Odisha. The original and traditional weaving of a Bomkai saree was made in low-count cotton yarn which is usually, coarse, heavy and dyed in intense colors. Subject: Nabakothari Khandua Saree (Chocolate). The 'nabatkothari' saree has nine square segments placed in a linear way on the body that contain nine different designs like, lotus, elephant, temple, peacock, pot, lion, conch, butterfly and deer in one line and another nine in the other line. This is a single ikat saree.This object was procured from Nuapatna No 2 Weavers Cooperative Society Ltd.

Subject: Bichitrapuri Sakta Cotton Saree. The Bichitrapuri saree is woven in red, black and white by weavers of Bargarh, Odisha. It has a traditional anchal with motifs of flower, swan, deer, creepers, conch , deer and elephant.

Subject: Ananta Cotton Bed Sheet. This bed sheet has an aquatic theme and is adorned with motifs of fish, conch and water plants. The bed sheet is in variegated blue colors. This object was procured from Sambalpuri Bastralaya Handloom Co-operative Society Ltd.

Subject: Middle 5 Sakta Cotton Bed Sheet. This bed sheet has five sakta or dice board patterns in the middle that have been created using the double ikat technique where both weft and warp yarns are tied and dyed before weaving. Subject: Middle Padma Cotton Bed Sheet. This bed sheet has a lotus flower (padma) on a brown square patch that is in center of a red background. This object was procured from Sambalpuri Bastralaya Handloom Co-operative Society Ltd.

Subject: Mathamani Cotton Bed Sheet. This bed sheet is diapered with rows of motifs that resemble a mathamani that are ornaments to decorate the head. This object was procured from Sambalpuri Bastralaya Handloom Co-operative Society Ltd.

Subject: New Sakta (B-stole) Cotton. The stole is woven in checkerboard pattern of red, white and black, named after the game (sakta). This object was procured from Sambalpuri Bastralaya Handloom Co-operative Society Ltd.

Subject: Krutartha Acharya Wall Hanging. This is a wall hanging commemorating Krutartha Acharya who pioneered in making the Sambalpuri design a world renowned. He established the Sambalpuri Bastralaya in 1930 and subsequently formed a Cooperative Societies of weavers of the district and the nearby districts. This object was procured from Sambalpuri Bastralaya Handloom Co-operative Society Ltd.

Subject: Satyapriya Scarf. This scarf has an all-over checkerboard pattern created in double ikat technique where both weft and warp yarns are tied and dyed before weaving. This object was procured from Sambalpuri Bastralaya Handloom Co-operative Society Ltd.

Subject: Surya Scarf. This scarf's body is diapered with small surya (sun) motif. The border is made in traditional tie and dye technique. The scarf is predominantly red in color. This object was procured from Sambalpuri Bastralaya Handloom Co-operative Society Ltd.

Subject: Tussar Eri Sibori Saree. This saree has been made using the Shibori tie-and-dye technique from Japan. It has a traditional temple design border. The material is eri silk which is a variety of tussar cocoon. The saree has a purple colored body and black and yellow anchal (end). This saree was procured from Srikrishna Tassar and Silk WCS Ltd.

Subject: Jhoti Chitta Silk Saree. Jhoti Chitta is a traditional Odia white art mostly shown in rural areas of Odisha. It is made during festivals like marriage, Manabasa Gurubara and Raja Praba. The tradition of jhoti chitas has been utilized used to make saree prints. This design is on the saree's border and anchal (end).
