Subject: Maharaja Vikramsinha Rao Paur gave up this gaddi to become Maharaja Shahaji Chhatrapati of Kolhapur in 1947. [Stamped Paper]

Subject: Singh came to the gaddi in 1879 at the age of four and reigned until 1940. He earned a medical degree at Edinburgh and wrote A Short History of Aryan Medical Science. [Medal of Maharaja Bhagvat Singh]

Subject: This Sikh maharaja complemented his military bearing with a zest for initiating orders and decorations. Most of his elaborate medals were made by Spink of London, though this one was manufactured by Janardhan Singh & Bros., Moga (Punjab). Subject: The enamel portrait of Krishna and Radha is inscribed "The Bestower of happiness on his people" and "King of the West". This award was instituted circa 1936 by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh, who also created the Order of the Holy Saint with enamel portrait of Guru Gobind Singh. Subject: The medal is dated 605 using a calendar dated from when a Koli chief Nim Shah was named raja by the Emperor in Delhi. Since this date is equivalent to 1948, it may commemorate the state's accession to India. [Medal of Maharaja Yashwant Rao]
