The Kissa of Heer Ranjha is a romantic ballad which is part of the Sufi repertoire of Sindh, Rajasthan and Punjab. It is also a widely sung ballad by the Langa performers. A Kissa is a folk tale, a fable. It is a oral-tradition of Punjabi, Sindhi language.
