Asa Dabi is a romantic Katha about the struggles of a married couple Asa Ji and Badli Ji, who soon after their marriage had to be apart. The wife made the husband promise that he will return to her on the occasion of Sawan Teej, and if he fails she will commit Sati. At the end after overcoming many hurdles Asa Ji reaches Badli Ji just on time. Katha is a ballad which is recited and narrated.
