Dhola Maru is a romantic Gatha. Both the parents of Dhola and Maru arranged their marriage when they were very little, but both of them stayed separately with their own parents. Gradually when they came of age, Dhola completely forgot about Maru and married someone else. However, Maru remembered Dhola and after trying long and hard they finally reunited.
