Subject: Seal of Traividya of Bhallatavataka. It Is an impression of a circular seal. Inside the seal, a male divinity figure with protuberant abdomen sits on lotus-seat (padmasana), while below him two text lines demarcate the seal into two planes with top having the image and lower portion having Sanskrit inscription written in nagari script. The text is roughly translated as ; "Of the illustrious Traividya, chief of the agrahara of Bhallatavataka" (1. Bhallatavataka-agrahare[sa]- 2. Srmat-Traividyasya). On the top right crescent represents the moon, while on top left there is a circle representing the sun. The divinity figure holds in his right hand a rosary and in his left hand a narrow necked spouted vessel (mangala-kalasa). Image scanned from a black-and-white negatives of 2" x 2" size.

Subject: Seal of Nalanda Maha Vihara. It Is an impression of a circular seal. The object depicts a 'Wheel of the law' (Dharmachakra) flanked by two deers symbolizing Buddha's preaching at Sarnath. It is placed above a three line inscription in Sanskrit language written in Nagari script which is translated as [Seal] of the venerable community of monks at the Great Nalanda monastery (Sri Nalanda - mahavihar?yarya-bhiksu-sanghasya). The seal has an insignia depicting Garuda (vahana of Vishnu), under this an inscription is placed which is in Sanskrit language and written in Nagari script.
