This Kos Minar is a Mughal-period octagonal
distance marker located in Jhabal Manan in Tarn Taran district of Punjab,
approximately 50 metres north-west of the Grand Trunk Road. Constructed in the
seventeenth century, it is built of lakhori bricks set in lime mortar and is
distinguished by a surviving red band on its shaft. The monument is unprotected
and survives in poor condition, with modern brick repairs at the base, surface
blackening, painted advertisements, and later paint applied by locals.
The Kos Minar at Jhattipur (Jatipur), Panipat
district, Haryana, is a Mughal-period distance marker constructed between 1600
and 1699 CE. Built of lakhori bricks bonded with lime mortar, the octagonal
tower represents the standard Kos Minar type erected along the Agra–Lahore
highway. The monument is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India
(Chandigarh Circle).
A Mughal-period distance marker located on the Grand Trunk Road in Kailash Nagar in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. Probably constructed in the 17th century CE, the octagonal structure is built of lakhori bricks with lime mortar and plaster. It is the first Kos Minar on the Grand Trunk Road from Agra towards Lahore. The monument is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India (Agra Circle); the Mahavir Baba Temple stands immediately to its south.
This Kos Minar is a seventeenth century Mughal-period
distance marker located in agricultural fields to the west of Karamjitpur
village in Kapurthala district of Punjab. The structure has an octagonal base
with a tapering cylindrical shaft and is built of lakhori bricks. The monument
is unprotected and survives in a deteriorated condition, with exposed brickwork
and extensive overgrowth of peepal and banyan roots; a small well is located
nearby.

and 1699 CE, the octagonal tower is built of lakhori bricks set in lime mortar.
